Unlike the Crucifix, the Holy Hand Grenade can actually kill Figure, making it an easy way to beat doors 50 and 100. However, if Figure is killed by a Holy Hand Grenade, Hide will become inactive for the rest of the run. (Super Hard Mode Only) This Marvel Legends The Spot figure features unique stand and portal accessories that allow fans and collectors to simulate Miles Morales poking his head and hand out of the the Spot’s portals! The Figure is one of the only entities that 'chase' people. Rush, Ambush, and Seek all simply run to the next door, Halt, Glitch, and Void go towards the direction of the player(s) but won't follow the player if they go out of their path. Snare acts as a non-moveable entity and the other entities will jumpscare but not chase the player as they are scripted to go in the direction of the player. If the exit door is opened, Figure will first go towards the exit door and attempt to reach the escaped players, ignoring those that are still in the Library, before automatically chasing after and attempting to kill all players who did not escape the Library at around 2x speed, so the players need to make sure everybody exits at the same time. The player will also be able to move much faster. The exit door will be shut closed if either Figure finishes investigating the door or if there is no one alive left inside The Library.
Since Figure's hitbox is roughly the same as its body, generally Figure cannot kill players through walls or barriers. This is due to the fact that all parts of Figure's body, including its arm, is collidable. An example of Figure patrolling at the aforementioned widely used spot is in this video at 11:05, where the large number of players caused Figure to walk there despite almost nobody walking uncrouched. Players can walk normally without being detected if the Figure does not have a direct line of sight to them, or in other words the player cannot directly see Figure.

The sound that plays when Figure dies when killed with the Holy Hand Grenade comes from this video. In The Library, Figure would only detect sound. Which sarcastically, it emphasizes that the player should stay quiet in libraries. Once Figure has jumped out the window, and the circuit breaker puzzle is active or fixed, the players can no longer access the staircase leading to the Rift, as a shelf will fall and make it impossible to bypass. Due to this the player should store an item in the Rift before the circuit breaker puzzle is activated. There are no true safezones in The Library, even a spot that usually works can be patrolled by Figure, such as the widely used safespot next to the plant near the exit door. However, the only few reasons why Figure would patrol these spots are because there are many players and not all of them are crouching. Before the Hotel+ update, Figure would make higher pitched roars at Door 100 than during Door 50. This sound file can still be found, and it is unknown if this file will be used in the future.
If the player has already collected enough books for Figure's speed to be higher than their own, it's best to use vitamins since they always provide enough boost to outrun the Figure. In SUPER HARD MODE, due to there being 12 necessary books, Figure can outpace the player - even with the use of vitamins - leaving the only way to survive is to crouch or to use a Holy Hand Grenade. Figure was originally in a scrapped project where it would rarely spawn as a white, pale zombie, run towards the player on all fours, then kill the player if they touched it. The player may also pay attention to their screen, as it shakes every time Figure does a step and they are close. The sharper the shaking, the closer Figure is to the player.If the player sees Figure passing by the area they are in, it is advised to stay still as the Figure can hear the player's heartbeat, compared to The Library.
