FRONTLINE PLUS ® for Cats can only be used on cats and ferrets; FRONTLINE PLUS ® for Dogs can only be used on dogs; FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON for Cats can only be used on cats; FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON for Dogs can only be used on dogs and FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® can only be used on dogs. If you have any queries regarding the administration of these products, use our pet care expert live service. Miliary Dermatitis is clinical sign rather than a diagnosis in itself, a bit like saying your cat has a crusty rash.

It is the best advanced formula from the Frontline range (the original spot-on formula used by vets). FRONTLINE ® Plus for Dogs spreads from the single point of application, rapidly covering the entire dog and localizing in the hair, on the surface of the skin and in the sebaceous glands. FRONTLINE Plus ® is a topical treatment which goes over your dog’s skin and hair to kill fleas and ticks through contact with them – they don’t have to bite your dog to be killed.

Unlike other flea treatments, FRONTLINE Plus® kills ticks too, helping to reduce the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. It is a recommended precaution that children or adults do not pet, play or sleep with treated animals until the application site is dry. To treat dogs over 60 kg with FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON, use two large-sized pipettes for dogs from 20 to 40 kg. Frontline Plus Spot on Flea and Tick Treatment for Medium Dogs is not suitable for use on cats or rabbits. Frontline do not make a worming spot on however you can use Dronspot, this is a spot on that covers roundworms and tapeworms.

For information about side effects, precautions, warnings and contraindications please refer to the product packaging and package leaflet. Frontline PLUS Spot-on for Medium Dogs is an effective medicine used to kill fleas and ticks and treat infestations of biting lice. Bathing/shampooing/water exposure does not affect the efficacy of the product as long as it doesn’t occur more than once a week. Once FRONTLINE PLUS ®, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® or FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON has been applied, it’s recommended to keep your pet out of the rain and away from water (including the sea, streams, rivers and ponds) for the next 48 hours. However, fleas are killed after contact with your treated pet: within 24 hours for FRONTLINE PLUS ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON, or within 6 hours for FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ®. Even if you have treated your pet for fleas, some fleas may lay eggs before dying, therefore it is important to tackle flea eggs. If you have more than one pet, ensure that animals do not lick or groom each other until after the treatment has dried. This means if you purchase a 3 pack or 6 pack for one pet then it will have enough treatment for 3 or 6 months.

Unlike some other flea treatments, it kills both fleas and ticks on your pet to help protect them from the discomfort and diseases these parasites cause. However this is a bird specific mite and so it should not be able to cause an infestation in your dog. This is for dogs that weigh between 10kg and 20kg including breeds such as a staffordshire bull terrier, cocker spaniel or french bulldog. The addition of (S)-methoprene in Frontline PLUS helps the treatment to not only eliminate adult fleas, but also their eggs, larvae and pupae to prevent multiplication. These glands act as a reservoir, continuously replenishing FRONTLINE Plus for Dogs onto the skin and hair coat, so it keeps working even if the dog gets wet.
